Auburn Style Birthday Card

If you request it I will create it.  Hmm sounds like a slogan right?

I had the pleasure of recreating a card I had previously created for a little boy birthday, yet this time for an adult male Auburn fan.
This was such a fun, semi rustic yet bright card to create.  Especially being that I've never created a collegiate greeting cards before, but I certainly plan on creating more themed items of such.

Just know it was quite difficult to not add ribbon or lace to this card, as you all KNOW I can't live without ribbon or lace.  Being this was an Auburn specific card, and it was a male card, I decided to skip the ribbon.  I think my next collegiate card will include a colorful ribbon mix of the school's colors and possibly a mix of shapes relative to the school...we'll see.

This card measures 5 1/2 sq, which means I had to cut my own envelope due to it's size.

And of course to close off the envelope, I added another AU to the back.  For each envelope I always add strips of 1/4" double sided tape for easy sealing.

**Oops factor: Be sure to leave space under the sealed flap for the receipient to grasp a portion of the lid to reopen, depending on the durability of your double sided sealant.  I think I've been adding too much tape, which may cause kids and adults alike difficulity in opening the envelope.

Over all this was a new venture in creating specific items and I enjoyed it.  Also after all is said and done....ROLLLLL TIDEEEE!!!

Thanks for visiting have a blessed day.

**Thanks to Aaron for adding my closing remarks to my blog today:)**
